Foam board also known as Foamex, is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and is available in the following thicknesses – 3mm, 5mm and 10mm.
Printing on Foamex provides a cost effective way of updating your signage, and with full colour printing at 600 x 2400 dpi and weatherproof and UV-resistant inks, it looks great too.
Matt, gloss, or dry wipe laminate options are also available to give your printed foam boards extra protection.
Boards are supplied at a maximum sheet size of 10x5ft (3000 x1524mm), any Foamex board printing orders larger than this will be split into sections.

How Is Foamex Printed?
Kaps Finishing Foamex board printing is done by our two large flat-bed printers using UV printing method.
With UV finishing and edge to edge HD printing, your printed Foamex boards will be clear and vibrant.
Using specially formulated inks in CMYKW format, our printed boards are the of the highest quality with a full in-house production and quality control team, your boards will be guaranteed to last.
With UV inks cured by UV lights, it is instantly dried meaning we provide fast turnaround times for small to large volume orders.
Is Foamex Waterproof?
Yes, Foamex is waterproof and perfect for outdoor signage, with outdoor Foamex Board Kaps Finishing recommend lamination to further protect against weather elements and increased UV exposure.
Kaps lamination is available in Matt, Gloss or Anti-Graffiti.
Not only does it protect from the elements, but it also protects the print from being scratched and with Anti-Graffiti, you can remove the lamination without any damage to the print, send it back to us and we can re-laminate for you.
How Is Foamex Delivered?
The bulk of our Foamex deliveries are via DX Freight by or for larger bulkier deliveries we us overnight Pallet Line , your Foamex board will be printed and delivered in one piece. For large pieces, it may be delivered in multiple sections. We ensure your Foamex board is carefully bubble wrap protected and packaged in cardboard to ensure they arrive safely. You should also receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to track your order to your address.
